I2TS 2010 SYMPOSIUM - CALLS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

 

Authors are encouraged to submit their contributions for presentation. All submissions are subject to refereeing process and only works written in english will be published in hard copy proceedings. All works accepted will be published in CD.

 

Keynote – One keynote session by invited researcher will approach theme from different perspectives in information technology and telecommunication areas. Keynote speakers will be announced in the I2TS 2010 home page.

 

English or Portuguese Full Papers – These include the final accomplished research results and must have 8 pages (5000 words) at the maximum. The three best works will be classified and they receive the I2TS certificates as the Golden English/Portuguese Track, Silver English/Portuguese Track and the Bronze English/Portuguese Track. The papers written in english will be published in hard copy; and the full proceedings (with papers in Portuguese) will be published in CD-ROM.

 

English or Portuguese Position Papers – For researches in progress, position papers can be submitted and should not exceed 4 pages. These are composed reports and must have 4 pages, a short paper of 2500 words at maximum.

 

Tutorials – Tutorials can be proposed by researchers, master or doctorate students. Tutorial proposals must contain at maximum 1 page (625 words).

 

Posters – These contain work in progress and must be 1 page (625 words) in banner format with dimensions specified for the event. Posters can be proposed by the authors or proposed by the TPC. Posters will be published in the CD conference proceedings in a dedicated tool and poster sessions, respectively.

I2TS 2010 ACADEMY OR SPONSOR CORPORATE SHOWCASES - CALLS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

 

Academy or Sponsor Corporate Showcases – In this year we are proposing the integration of academy and enterprises. The former enables academy to present the recent developments and applications and their future directions. The second enables companies to present their recent developments and applications and company's products and services showcases. There will be a time slot for companies to make their presentations in a room. For additional details please contact the publicity chair. Proposals for these sessions must have 2 pages (1250 words).

 

Lectures – Sessions approaching themes in information technology or telecommunication areas.

 

Tools – These contain implementations or work in progress and must have 4 pages (2500 words) at maximum. The tool itself will be exposed at the event. Computers will be available for demonstrations during the presentation.

 

Workshops – Important and recent themes are chose and can be organized in telecommunication and computer science research.

 

Shortcourses – Advanced or undergraduate half-day shortcourses can be offered in I2TS 2010.

 

Academy Research Projects – Laboratories of universities can show their research projects

 

Innovative Technology Research and Development – Development and research in innovative technologies of reference centers can be presented in I2TS 2010.
