I'm an Adjunct Professor at Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC. I work as professor in Computer Science, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering. Also, I am a researcher, professor and advisor in the Computer Science (PPGCC / UFSC) and Computing (PPGComp / FURG) Graduate Programs.
I hold a degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), a Master's and a PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). I worked as a visiting researcher for the Alfa / Euro project at the Turin Polytechnic, Italy.
My main research areas are: computational systems architectures, microelectronics, nanotechnology, embedded systems and development of EDA tools, with main focus in the area of mitigation of the effects of variability and radiation faults. I'm an accountant for the IEEE Council Electronic Desing and Automation - Brazil (CEDA) and Member of IEEE (CASS), SBC and SBMicro.
