setShuffle, setSubShuffle

The function calls setShuffle and setSubShuffle enable the user to work with the shuffle function of the SNNS which selects the next training pattern randomly. The shuffle function can be switched on or off. The format of the function calls is:

setShuffle (mode)
setSubShuffle (mode)

where the parameter mode is a boolean value. The boolean value TRUE switches the shuffle function on and the boolean value FALSE switches it off. setShuffe relates to regular patterns and setSubShuffle relates to subpatterns. The function call:

setSubShuffle (TRUE)

will display:

Subpattern shuffling enabled
