DESCRIPTION
The kdbm library is simply a Khoros front end to the public domain
GNU data base manager, by Philip A. Nelson. As of yet, we have
not put a public API on the kdbm library. You may, however, see
the source code for function definitions.

- kdbm_fdopen
- Open the dbm file and initialize data structures for use.
- kdbm_open
- Open the dbm file and initialize data structures for use.
- kdbm_close
- close a previously opened kdbm file
- kdbm_fetch
- Find a key and return the associated data.
- kdbm_store
- Add a new key/data pair to the database.
- kdbm_delete
- Remove the key and its associated data from the database.
- kdbm_firstkey
- get the first key in the database
- kdbm_nextkey
- get the next key in the database
- kdbm_checkkey
- check to see if a key exists in the database
- kdbm_read
- Find a key and reads the associated data.
- kdbm_write
- Simple database write routine
- kdbm_lseek
- move read/write pointer of the key pointer
- kdbm_tell
- indicate position of the key pointer
- kdbm_getmachtype
- gets the machine type for the database
- kdbm_check
- check where file descripter is a valid kdbm file
