PROGRAM NAME

xvregister

DESCRIPTION

xvregister is used to gather information about the customer's of Khoros so that Khoral Research can continually provide service, support, and updates of Khoros and Khoros based products. Whenever users of Khoros execute any interactive Khoros program, they will be prompted to register and license their version of Khoros. Registration involves providing contact information as well as answering a few simple questions. After filling out the form, if the "Register" button is selected, the user will have the opportunity to either email the registration to Khoral Research or save it to a file where it could then be later submitted to KRI.

Users are not required to register their version. If the "Do Not Register" button is selected, the user will be marked as unregistered and the interactive application will run anyway. Note however that as long as a user is unregistered, they will be prompted to register each time a Khoros interactive application is run.

After the registration process is completed, the user will then be presented with the Khoros license agreement. Similar to registration, if the license is not agreed to, it will be presented each time an Khoros application is run until the user agrees to the license.

Note that xvregister can also be run from the command line.
