DESIGN (xvisual) library

LIBRARY NAME

xvisual - (no short description specified)

DESCRIPTION

The xvisual library (libxvs.a) provides utilities with which you may create and display visual objects which would typically be classified as either images or graphics. In the xvisual library, there is no real differentiation made between the two; visual objects that display an image may coexist with those that display graphics. The more simple objects include such primitives as lines, circles, and images; examples of more sophisticated objects include the 2D axis object and the zoom object. Visual objects, like GUI objects, are self maintaining. They refresh and resize themselves, and react appropriately to changes in their defining attributes.
