kfile_copydata - copy the contents of a transport id to another transport id

RETURN VALUE

the number of bytes copied or -1 upon failure

DESCRIPTION

This routine copies the contents of a input transport descriptor to an output transport descriptor. These descriptors are specified by the Khoros transport mechanism. An optional "num_copy" can be used to specify the actual number of bytes to be copied. If "num_copy" is 0 then all the data from input is written to the output.

SIDE EFFECTS

the data written to the output descriptor will not be flushed until a kfflush() or kclose() is performed.
