PROGRAM NAME

craftsman - Toolbox object creation and management

DESCRIPTION

The craftsman application is used to create and manage toolboxes and software objects. It is assumed that you have read the following documents and are familiar with the terminology introduced therein:

1. Chapter 1, Introduction, in the Toolbox Programming manual. This chapter provides a general overview of the levels of programming or interaction between the user and the Khoros system, the software development tools, and the programming services.

2. The Glossary section of the Toolbox Programming manual.

The online help for craftsman assumes you at least have a vague idea what a toolbox is, and a software object.

COMMAND-LINE ARGUMENTS

Craftsman is invoked using the following command:

% craftsman

Craftsman understands the standard Khoros command-line arguments, and additional -tb and -oname switches, used to specify an initial toolbox and object respectively. So to start craftsman with the toolbox envision and object xprism selected, you would run the following command:

% craftsman -tb envision -oname xprism
